Because golfers are NOT robots, they often make contact with the ball all over the driver face. To
reflect this in our comparison, for each category we set the robot to hit the ball six times at each of
nine different impact locations on the driver face. We also selected data from this comparison to
highlight results showing center hits only.
Looking at our comparison chart, we see our 0811 X GEN2 Driver achieves the longest average total
distance, and the lowest average spin. The dispersion graph shows that our 0811 XF GEN2 Driver is the
most forgiving driver with the tightest dispersion area.
Looking at 2019 PGA TOUR Season Statistics as of August 1, 2019, PXG PGA TOUR Professional Ryan Moore –
playing our 0811 X GEN2 Driver, is 1st overall on TOUR in Driving Accuracy with a Fairways Hit
Percentage of 75%. Ryan uses the 0811 X GEN2 Driver to achieve maximum distance while supporting his
exceptional accuracy. In similar fashion, PXG PGA TOUR Professional, Wyndham Clark – playing our 0811 XF
GEN2 Driver, is ranked 4th overall on TOUR in Driving Distance with an average of 312.8 yards per drive.
Wyndham also hit the 4th longest drive (424-yards) on TOUR this season! Our 0811 XF GEN2 Driver provides
him with outstanding accuracy to support his impressive driving distance. Ka-Boom Baby!
In 2009, the subject of possible hearing loss caused by the repeated exposure to the sharp sound made by
titanium drivers over an extended period of time was raised. While this may or may not be the case (we
suspect it is), we mitigated the sound made by our drivers by introducing a honeycomb TPE insert (a
high-performance vibration dampening polymer) to enhance the feel and sound of our 0811 GEN2 Drivers.
Not only are our 0811 GEN2 Drivers surprisingly long and delightfully accurate, but when struck, make a
sound that is reminiscent of the sound made by the old persimmon wood drivers, which we believe to be
more pleasant and comfortable to the ear.
