Full Face Grooves support an expanded hitting area, with precision milled grooves extended to the face perimeter. The enlarged impact region supports consistent ball contact on shots played toward the toe side of the face and confidence at address.
The adjustable, expertly designed High Toe Weighting works to position the CG in-line with open face shots, delivering greater impact consistency and fine-tuned forgiveness.
The PXG 0311 Sugar Daddy II design introduces swing weight adjustability to the PXG Wedge fitting experience. The large weight, located near the CG on the back of the clubhead, can be adjusted in 2-gram increments during a fitting to allow golfers to experience various head weight configurations and achieve optimal personalized performance. Weighting is not intended to be adjusted after purchase.
The CNC milling process ensures every line, curve and angle are produced to exacting specifications for consistent performance today, and when it's time to refresh your set. Triple forged 8620 soft carbon steel is used to fabricate PXG’s 100% Milled Wedges. The material helps to prolong the life of the grooves and enhances the appearance of the club over time.
PXG’s stunning Xtreme Dark irons and wedges are created using an advanced process called Diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating. DLC creates a hard, graphite-like, carbon-based coating that significantly extends the reasonable lifetime of our Xtreme Dark finish. Unlike the typical black PVD used by other equipment manufactures DLC is a three-layer process that includes a chromium base, a carbon-chromium mid layer, a high-carbon top layer that is approximately 3/25,000 of an inch thick. This produces extraordinary wear resistance and a flawless look without influencing club performance relative to how the ball reacts.

C-Grind: Designed to perform in firm turf conditions, the C-Grind features a narrow sole and aggressive taper from heel to toe, delivering moderate bounce. Ideal for skilled golfers hitting creative shots around the green.
BP-Grind: Designed for lush turf conditions, deep sand traps and golfers with a steeper attack angle, the BP-Grind features a wider sole and slight taper from heel to toe, delivering additional bounce and maximum forgiveness.
Loft: Loft is the angle measured between the face and a vertical plane. Stronger lofts will create lower launch angles and spin rates, while weaker lofts will produce a higher launch and spin ball flight. Our irons are designed with loft specifications that fit the majority of players of all levels. We recommend standard loft unless a player has been through a full fitting with a PXG fitter.
Lie: Lie is the angle measured between the shaft and the ground plane at impact. Lie angle is adjusted based on a player’s physical stature as well as his or her swing characteristics to make the head level at impact.
Length: Club length is determined by your physical stature as well as your consistency. Generally, longer clubs will add more speed but will also increase the dispersion pattern.
Graphite: Graphite iron shafts are vibration dampening, light weight options. They produce a softer feel as well as higher launch and more speed for improved distance.
Steel: Steel iron shafts are designed to maximize consistency and provide a stable feel for stronger players. Steel shafts are generally heavier than graphite and are available in a variety of weights and stiffness profiles to help optimize your launch conditions.
PXG’s stunning Xtreme Dark irons and wedges are created using an advanced process called Diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating. DLC creates a hard, graphite-like, carbon-based coating that significantly extends the reasonable lifetime of our Xtreme Dark finish.
