    Preferred Shaft Flex

    Recommendations for players who CONSISTENTLY hit their 7-iron:

    • Ladies: Less than 120 yards.
    • Senior: 120-135 yards.
    • Regular: 135-155 yards. Most common flex.
    • Stiff: 155-175 yards.
    • Extra Stiff: 175 yards or more.

    Beginning golfers who are not in the Ladies or Senior shaft flex category should select Regular Flex Shafts.

    Preferred Shaft Material

    GRAPHITE shafts are vibration-dampening, lightweight options. They produce a softer feel, a higher launch, and more speed for improved distance.

    STEEL shafts are designed to maximize consistency and provide a stable feel for stronger players. Steel shafts are generally heavier than graphite and are available in a variety of weights and stiffness profiles to help optimize your launch conditions.

      PXG 0311 Black Ops Hybrids present a high-strength steel face design that is 10.5% thinner than previous generations and optimized for extremely fast ball speed performance. The square face shifts the perimeter skirt more vertical, increasing the surface area to significantly boost forgiveness.

      High-Strength Carbon Fiber Crown

      The PXG 0311 Black Ops Hybrid crown is made from high-grade carbon fiber. This lightweight material saves mass in the crown, allowing it to be redistributed low and to the perimeter of the clubhead for optimal CG and a higher MOI.

    • Supported Weight Structure 

      Through rigorous modal analysis testing, PXG designed an innovative supported weight structure that delivers unbelievable sound and feel. The Precision Weighting Technology is shifted to the extreme perimeter of the clubhead, anchoring the weight ports to the outer wall. That positioning creates a stiff, stable structure and a sophisticated internal geometry that generates high frequency vibrations. Using modal analysis to study vibration, PXG determined the ideal frequency range that produces a more optimal feel and sound at impact.

    • Robotic Polishing

      Robotic polishing is a high-precision process that ensures the face thickness and the face curvature (the bulge and roll radii) are manufactured to design specs that maximize performance and impart corrective spin for ideal ball flight on off-center shots.

    • Head Design

      Made from a high-strength AM355 steel, the clubhead body features a squared face design and a flat sole geometry that positions mass low and to the perimeter, delivering increased forgiveness. The innovative shape also helps position the center-of-gravity lower for high launch and optimal spin.
