    "Well, PXG pushed the bar even higher with the GEN8 line of Irons! I have the XP's and these things are fast off the face but at the same time a soft-ish feel off the face.     "This is my 3rd set of PXG irons. My last set was 0311P Gen3 and I really liked them which made it difficult to think about switching. I got fitted for the Gen8 in Atlanta. The fitter was very good and had me convinced that the Gen8 was going to be a noticeable improvement. Distance was about the same but the launch, descent angles and spin were better. I have two rounds with the Gen8 and he was right. I am very happy the way the ball stops a few feet from where it hits. Very pleased with the whole experience. I’m also happy with the very generous Hero discount."
