    Preferred Shaft Flex

Recommendations for players who CONSISTENTLY hit their 7-iron:

    • Ladies: Less than 120 yards.
    • Senior: 120-135 yards.
    • Regular: 135-155 yards. Most common flex.
    • Stiff: 155-175 yards.
    • Extra Stiff: 175 yards or more.

Beginning golfers who are not in the Ladies or Senior shaft flex category should select Regular Flex Shafts.

    Preferred Shaft Material

GRAPHITE shafts are vibration-dampening, lightweight options. They produce a softer feel, a higher launch, and more speed for improved distance.

STEEL shafts are designed to maximize consistency and provide a stable feel for stronger players. Steel shafts are generally heavier than graphite and are available in a variety of weights and stiffness profiles to help optimize your launch conditions.

    Preferred Grip Size

Measure your hand, crease to finger tip.

    • Undersize: less than 6.5"
    • Standard: 6.5" to 8"
    • Midsize: 8" to 9"
    • Oversize: more than 9"

    Breakthrough Technology That Performs

    • High-Speed, Square Face

PXG 0311 Black Ops Fairways present a proprietary stainless-steel face that is 12.5% thinner than previous generations and engineered to position the CG low for high launch, optimal spin performance, and insanely fast ball speeds. The optimized squared face design shifts the perimeter skirt more vertical, increasing the surface area to significantly boost forgiveness of the clubhead.

    • High-Strength Carbon Fiber Crown

This proprietary design helps to optimize the fairways performance by ensuring consistent and efficient energy transfer across various impact points on the clubface. The result is increased ball speed and improved distance.

    • Supported Weight Structure

Through rigorous modal analysis testing, PXG designed an innovative supported weight structure that delivers unbelievable sound and feel. With Precision Weighting Technology positioned in the extreme perimeter of the clubhead and anchored to the outer wall, a sophisticated stiff and stable structure that generates high frequency vibrations is created. Using modal analysis to study the vibrations, PXG determined that this geometry produces an optimal feel and sound at impact.

    • Robotic Head Polishing

Robotic polishing is a high-precision process that ensures the face thickness and the face curvature (the bulge and roll radii) are manufactured to design specs that maximize performance and impart corrective spin for ideal ball flight on off-center shots.

    • Head Design

Made from a high-strength AM355 steel the 0311 Black Ops Fairway Woods have a comfortable, low profile head shape. The clubhead body features a squared face and a flat sole design that helps position mass low and to the perimeter, delivering increased forgiveness.

    Great club. Improved this lame

"Great club. Improved this lame golfers game from the first swing. I’ve never experienced design & technology that made contact so easy."

    Amazing-Easy to hit

"I finally found the right club for that 185–195 yard distance. This 7-wood, fitted with a Fujikura shaft, has been a great addition to my bag. The ball flight is a consistent medium to high trajectory, and the accuracy has really impressed me. My shots are typically only about 3–7 yards off center, which keeps me in the fairway and gives me a lot more confidence from this distance. What stands out most is the consistency of the contact. I’m hitting the sweet spot about 95% of the time, and the Fujikura shaft feels like a perfect match for my swing. For me, this 7-wood has filled an important yardage gap and gives me the combination of distance, accuracy, and consistency I was looking for. It has definitely earned a permanent spot in my bag."

    Outstanding. Got fitted for clubs

"Outstanding. Got fitted for clubs that included a 7 wood and found it to be great. It quickly became my to club. Needed just a little more distance on some par fives so I called the fitter and he set me up with the 4wood just like my 7. The 4 wood is great, flies high and lash soft. Thanks"

    — Larry D. (5/5)

    Just what I was looking

"Just what I was looking for. I was carrying a 3 wood, 5 wood, 7 wood. But sometimes had trouble hitting the 3, and the 5 went just as far. I’ve lost distance as I have gotten older, and settled on a 4 wood. I hit it cleanly, and it goes about as far on par fives, and long par fours. So I elimited two clubs from my bag. Gained a bit of distance too."

"Great fitting,I now have the complete set from putter thru driver. Playing my best golf again. As an aging PGA professional I needed to come to grips with shaft selection as my swing speed is decreasing. Love my clubs!"
