What is a PXG golf club fitting?

A PXG fitting is a personalized session where a dedicated Master Fitter analyzes your swing using TrackMan launch monitor data. You test multiple head models, shaft profiles, and weighting configurations, and your fitter identifies the combination that measurably improves your performance.

How is a PXG fitting different from other brand fittings?

PXG clubs are engineered specifically for adjustability — every head, weighting system, and shaft option is designed to be fine-tuned during the fitting process, not just swapped out. Combined with TrackMan data and dedicated Master Fitters, the level of personalization goes beyond what most fitting experiences offer.

Is a PXG fitting worth it?

Do I have to buy clubs after a PXG fitting?

No. There is no obligation to purchase. Your fitting data belongs to you. Many customers purchase after seeing their results — but that decision is entirely yours.

How long does a PXG fitting take?

Most fittings take 60 to 90 minutes depending on the club category. A full bag fitting typically takes longer. Plan for 90 minutes to be comfortable.

What should I bring to a PXG fitting?

Bring your current clubs, golf shoes, and a glove. Hitting with your current set first establishes a baseline — so we can show you exactly how much your numbers change with optimized specs.

I'm not a low handicap. Is a fitting still worth it?

Yes — and possibly more so. Inconsistent ball flight often improves dramatically with correct specifications. A 20-handicap golfer with mismatched equipment will see more tangible gains than a scratch player who's already dialed in.

I just bought clubs. Is it too late to get fitted?

No. Small adjustments in loft, lie, shaft flex, or weighting can significantly improve performance on clubs you already own. A fitting will show you whether changes are worthwhile.

I only play a few times a month. Do I really need fitted clubs?

Playing less often makes consistency more important, not less. Properly fit clubs reduce variability round to round, so the time you do spend on the course is more productive — and more enjoyable.

Can I get fit for a specific club category — not my whole bag?

Absolutely. PXG offers driver fittings, iron fittings, wedge fittings, and full bag fittings. Start with the category where you're losing the most strokes or where you want the biggest improvement.

Can I be re-fit as my swing changes?

Yes. As your swing evolves, your optimal specs may shift. PXG customers can request an annual spec check to confirm their setup is still optimized for their current game.
