The Gunboat is a modern, extremely high MOI mallet-style golf putter offering increased stability and forgiveness. The Gunboat is named for the naval watercraft designed to carry one or more guns to bombard coastal targets, as opposed to military craft designed for naval warfare or for ferrying troops or supplies.
Features a high contrast, center stripe from the face to the back of the club head making this putter very easy to line up.
Two shaft options – single-bend and heel shafted – are available to fit any stroke.
Available in chrome and black.
Head Mass (g)
370 / 400
The Gunboat is milled from a high-quality, aircraft grade aluminum. The face is crafted with a billet-milled 304 stainless steel and is backed by PXG’s TPE technology.
TPE is a high-performance vibration-dampening polymer that enhances the club’s sound and feel. An insert behind the face supports a consistent response and improved distance control even on mishit putts. The Gunboat also features a TPE core that extends the entire depth of the putter.
The Gunboat features innovative heel and toe weighting elements that also serve as easy alignment aids to help build confidence when standing over a shot.
Available in both 370-gram and 400-gram weighted versions, the mass positioning of this mallet-style putter provides more stability by reducing torque from shaky wrists and hands. The heavier option is optimal for players using a counter-balanced grip.
ThermoplasticElastomer (TPE) Insert
The Gunboat utilizes a single-bend shaft to create a full shaft offset and a face balanced hang angle. This putter is best suited for players with a straight-back-straight-through putting stroke.
This heel-shafted Gunboat has a half-shaft of offset and a mid-toe down hang angle. This model is best suited for players with an open to close, arc-style stroke.

Consult with a Master Fitter
Loft: Loft is the angle measured between the face and a vertical plane. Stronger lofts will create lower launch angles and spin rates, while weaker lofts will produce a higher launch and spin ball flight. Our irons are designed with loft specifications that fit the majority of players of all levels. We recommend standard loft unless a player has been through a full fitting with a PXG fitter.
Lie: Lie is the angle measured between the shaft and the ground plane at impact. Lie angle is adjusted based on a player’s physical stature as well as his or her swing characteristics to make the head level at impact. If you are not sure what your lie angle should be, we recommend using our full online fitting tool.
Length: Club length is determined by your physical stature as well as your consistency. Generally, longer clubs will add more speed but will also increase the dispersion pattern. If you are not sure what your length should be, we recommend using our full online fitting tool.
For golfers at every level of the game, the original PXG 0311 Irons provide forgiveness where you need it and performance where you want it.
A game improvement iron that offers xtreme forgiveness and superior feel, while maintaining the sleek look of a blade. The larger profile helps build confidence at address.
Inspired by PXG's touring professionals, the 0311T Irons create a more penetrating ball flight and offer xtreme workability for advanced shot making.
GRAPHITE: Graphite iron shafts are vibration dampening, light weight options. They produce a softer feel as well as higher launch and more speed for improved distance.
STEEL: Steel iron shafts are designed to maximize consistency and provide a stable feel for stronger players. Steel shafts are generally heavier than graphite and are available in a variety of weights and stiffness profiles to help optimize your launch conditions.
