The only mid-mallet in the PXG 0211 Putter lineup, V-42 presents a classic crescent shape and unique alignment aids for critical precision. The V-42 Putter boasts PXG’s game changing Runway Reticle™ design, a slightly flared dual-step geometry, and top rail dot that helps golfers maintain focus for on-target putts. For consistency and optimal ball speed across the face, the V-42 also deploys PXG’s flagship Pyramid Face Pattern technology. Paired with a heel shafted hosel, this putter helps golfers deliver the club face square, especially for those with a tendency to over rotate the clubhead at impact.
The PXG 0211 V-42 Putter is named after the notorious battlefield blade. The narrow, double-edged V-42 dagger was designed for close calls and close combat.
The prominent Runway Reticle™ alignment feature presents a geometric, arrow-like aid that supports enhanced face awareness and control. This visual mechanism pairs with a topline alignment feature to improve aim throughout the putting stroke. A flared cavity offers both visual cues and helps save critical mass from the center of the clubhead. This mass saving is repositioned on the perimeter of the clubhead for improved MOI and stroke stability.
Also featured in PXG’s flagship Battle Ready Putters, the Pyramid Face Pattern is engineered for maximum performance across the club face. Based on tour player feedback and R&D testing, the groove depth enhances feel and optimizes initial ball velocity. This design helps ensure consistency in all significant factors that affect roll such as launch angle, spin rates, and skid distance.
OPTIMIZED PYRAMID FACE PATTERN
The heel-shafted hosel orients the shaft axis far into the heel side of the putter to create significant toe hang, which increases the inertial force required to rotate the putter face. Optimal for players who tend to over rotate the clubhead at impact, who will appreciate the greater control and stability.

Putter Loft: Loft is the angle measured between the face and a vertical plane. Loft enables the ball to launch at the proper angle to be sure it isn’t being driven into the ground at impact or skidding significantly before rolling. Players with substantial forward press should consider adding loft, while players whose hands are behind the ball at impact should consider a decreased loft angle.
Putter Lie: Lie is the angle measured between the shaft and the ground plane at impact. Lie angle is adjusted to make the head level at impact; the proper lie angle will help square the face angle to the target and improve consistency of contact.
Putter Length: Putter length is determined by your physical stature and putting posture. Generally, a longer putter will cause a player to stand farther from the ball, while a shorter putter will make a player stand closer. Our goal when adjusting putter length is to help a player consistently and comfortably get into the proper position over the ball.
GRAPHITE: Graphite iron shafts are vibration dampening, light weight options. They produce a softer feel as well as higher launch and more speed for improved distance.
STEEL: Steel iron shafts are designed to maximize consistency and provide a stable feel for stronger players. Steel shafts are generally heavier than graphite and are available in a variety of weights and stiffness profiles to help optimize your launch conditions.
Beginning golfers who are not in the L or A shaft flex category should select R: Regular Flex Shafts.
