Your new go-to golf club, PXG 0317X GEN1 Hybrid golf clubs are engineered to deliver extreme distance and accuracy with fine-tuning options to complement any swing.
Seven weights provide a significant amount of moveable mass in the club head that can be easily adjusted to influence launch conditions, including bias.
Adjustable hosel can change the loft (+/-) 1½ degrees to optimize the trajectory.
PXG 0317X GEN1 Hybrids are built for performance, starting with an ultra-strong, ultra-lightweight carbon fiber crown. Weighing just 2.8 grams, the carbon fiber crown saves nearly 10 grams of mass from the top of the club head that can be redistributed in the sole, helping to lower the CG position and optimize ball flight.
PXG 0317X GEN1 Hybrids are designed with a honeycomb TPE insert. TPE, also used in PXG 0311 GEN1 Irons, is a high-performance vibration-dampening polymer that enhances the club’s sound and feel. The honeycomb structure helps reduce the mass of the dampening structure, allowing for more weight to be repositioned around the sole of the club to optimize launch conditions.
The high strength, ultra-thin steel face is just .075” thick, helping maximize ball speed to promote extra distance.
Precision Weighting Technology keeps club head mass distributed through a series of weights. PXG 0317X GEN1 Hybrids have seven weights - platinum colored weights are made of high-density tungsten (2.5g) and black weights made of low-density titanium (.5g). Fine-tuning will alter the initial launch conditions allowing the golfer to achieve the best possible results without changing his or her swing.
This weight distribution positions the mass toward the back of the club head.
This weight distribution positions the mass towards the toe of the club head and has the effect of producing a more fade-biased shot of approximately 3-5 yards.
This weight distribution positions the mass towards the heel of the club head and has the effect of producing a more draw-biased shot of approximately 3-5 yards.
