My favorite thing to practice is anything inside of 120 yards. I think one of the most important parts of the golf game is a short game and wedges. That’s where you score on par fives, when you get in trouble on par fours, and the short par four is where you can make a lot of birdies. So when I’m on the range, I could spend hours just hitting all of my wedges. 60 degree, 56, 50, and my pitching wedge.
So one of my favorite shots to work on is a half wedge swing, when you are in between clubs, it’s a little bit windy, and you’re not sure how it’s going to be affected. I just like to work on taking the swing halfway back and make sure you keep the speed up, and that way it goes right at your target.
