Billy Horschel is a Florida native and has been an American professional golfer since 2009. Horschel's love for golf began at an early age, when he would practice by trying to hit balls over a pond in his backyard. His dad wouldn't take him to a golf course until he could consistently conquer the water hazard. All the backyard practice paid off. Horshel claimed his first professional win at the 2013 Zurich Classic. The same year Horschel made U.S. Open history by hitting all eighteen greens in one round during the Open at Merion. Horschel continued to turn heads in 2014 when he played one of the best closing stretches in PGA TOUR history and claimed the title FedEx Cup Champion. He is the youngest player to clinch a FedEx Cup victory.
