    Preferred Shaft Flex

Recommendations for players who CONSISTENTLY hit their 7-iron:

    • Ladies: Less than 120 yards.
    • Senior: 120-135 yards.
    • Regular: 135-155 yards. Most common flex.
    • Stiff: 155-175 yards.
    • Extra Stiff: 175 yards or more.

Beginning golfers who are not in the Ladies or Senior shaft flex category should select Regular Flex Shafts.

    Preferred Shaft Material

GRAPHITE shafts are vibration-dampening, lightweight options. They produce a softer feel, a higher launch, and more speed for improved distance.

STEEL shafts are designed to maximize consistency and provide a stable feel for stronger players. Steel shafts are generally heavier than graphite and are available in a variety of weights and stiffness profiles to help optimize your launch conditions.

    Preferred Grip Size

Measure your hand, crease to finger tip.

    • Undersize: less than 6.5"
    • Standard: 6.5" to 8"
    • Midsize: 8" to 9"
    • Oversize: more than 9"

    • New QuantumCOR Technology

10 years in the making, PXG’s extremely lightweight new proprietary core material – QuantumCOR helps reduce the mass of the core which enables more weight to be positioned low and to the perimeter of the backside of the clubhead, dramatically increasing MOI. Combined with PXG’s variable ultrathin face technology, this enhances the COR to the USGA limit for extreme face deflection and incredible ball speed.

    • Variable Ultra-Thin Maraging Steel Face

Since their inception, PXG irons have maintained the thinnest face in golf, and with GEN7 the face is now even thinner. Made from high-strength HT1770 maraging steel, the variable ultra-thin face measures a mere 0.050” (~1.27mm) thick — 15% thinner than previous models. Combined with PXG’s proprietary core material, GEN7 Irons deliver a C.O.R. performance that pushes the USGA limit, helping increase distance and forgiveness while also enhancing sound and feel.

    • Power Channel Technology

Power Channel Technology is the proprietary U-shaped corridor built into the internal surface of the club face to increase deflection and bend in the top sector. The channel creates face movement and transfers energy to simultaneously increase launch angle, trajectory, and ball speed.

    • Titanium Bezel Technology

A lightweight titanium insert, used to provide housing for the Precision Weighting Technology, removes mass from the center of the club in order to redistribute weight to the perimeter to boost MOI.

    • Internal Tungsten Weighting

GEN7 Irons feature internal 20-gram toe mass tungsten weighting that balance the Center of Gravity (CG) location in the center of the face while boosting Moment of Inertia (MOI) to increase forgiveness.

    • Precision Weighting Technology

One large weight is located near the CG on the back of the clubhead. This large center weight can be used to achieve optimal swing weight. Unique to PXG, customers can experience the benefits of these adjustments during an in-person fitting. Weighting is not intended to be adjusted after purchase.

    • 5X Forged

Each iron is five-times forged from 8620 soft carbon steel, creating a tight grain structure that increases its strength, prolonging the life of the grooves and enhancing the overall feel and appearance.

    • Milled Back Surface

Milling the back surface of each iron is a high-precision process that reduces the wall thickness more than forging alone could achieve, to create a high-performance body design and an enhanced aesthetic.

    Huge Improvements made every round

"This is my first season swinging PXG and I absolutely love my 0311 Gen 7 XP irons. I’m hitting the ball farther than I ever have before with more consistency which has brought my confidence through the roof. Not to mention after over 50 rounds of golf they show very little signs of wear and tear. These clubs are definitely the real deal. I highly recommend the PXG name to anyone who asks about them."

    Still getting used to these

"Still getting used to these irons and so far so good. A couple of comments - a few of the grips seem hard and are difficult to get a comfortable grip with these. Also, the PXG club return process is very slow. It’s been 3 weeks and still no payment for my used clubs."

    Tom L. (4/5)

    Gen7 P love

"Not sure there’s a huge difference from my Gen5 P, but with a newly fitted shaft and new lie angle, I’m ready to get going with my new Gen7 P. But what I have to say More than anything else is just how pleased I am with the service and the help that I got at the Houston PXG store. No pressure to buy, my club fitter there just seems to enjoy helping to put together a good combination of iron head and shaft. I never once felt impatience on their end. I know that I can go back to fix any gap issues or anything else. PXG absolutely gives you the best service you can ask for. Thanks very much!!"

    Jack S. (5/5)

    I love my new PXG

"I love my new PXG clubs. They strike the ball so smoothly at contact, with no recoil. Having turned 70 in April, I replaced my 15 year old Cleveland Ideas and couldn't be happier."

    Ira T. (5/5)

    I love my new irons.

"I love my new irons. My clubs and fitting has dramatically improved my golf game. Thank you so much."

    Jesse L. (5/5)

    Great forgiveness and much more

"Great forgiveness and much more distance than my old 7 Iron. Most of my shots with my new Irons are 15 plus yards further"

    James M. (5/5)

    Very happy with the weight

"Very happy with the weight and fitting. I will be getting larger grips."

    Mike M. (4/5)

    These are great clubs they

"These are great clubs they gave me little more distance at a older age They price was great"

    John S. (5/5)

Performance as advertised. with the light

"Performance as advertised. with the light shafts it feels like I need to back off a bit as not to overpower the swing, but this results in higher straighter longer shots, almost a club longer with less effort."

    Steve S. (2/5)

    Thank you for asking me

"Thank you for asking me for my opinion on the purchase and of my GEN7 0311P RH Chrome - 7 Iron. I have the complete set and if 6 Stars were permitted I would give 6 Stars. Reason being: Contact with the ball has never felt better, distance is great, easy to hit the ball with all the irons, great looking iron, and just an all around fantastic iron."
