The PXG 0811 X GEN2 Driver features Hot Rod Technology inspired by the look and extreme performance of American muscle cars.
The golf club head’s innovative carbon fiber crown combined with the weight-forward design supports low spin performance, blazing fast ball speed and breathtaking distance fine-tuned for forgiveness and accuracy.
Nine weights provide a significant amount of moveable mass in the club head that can be easily adjusted to influence head weight, spin and bias.
Adjustable hosel can change the loft (+/-) 1½ degrees to optimize the trajectory.
Supports an extremely low CG position, approximately 0.160” below the neutral axis. This promotes low spin performance and helps improve both distance and accuracy.
The PXG 0811 X GEN2 Driver features a multi-level, variable thickness carbon fiber crown design. The stiff carbon fiber construction reduces energy loss, yielding faster ball speeds, and helps reinforce the face structure for improved consistency.
The dynamic visual styling of the crown, including a high-performance anti-glare finish, eliminates distractions at address, subliminally aids alignment for more centered and consistent ball striking and enhances aerodynamics.
The carbon fiber crown saves approximately 12 grams of mass from the top of the club head that can be redistributed in the sole, helping to lower the CG position and optimize ball flight.
The high-strength titanium alloy face used in the 0811 X GEN2 Driver supports a thin face construction. The variable design further optimizes the face to promote faster ball speeds.
The 0811 X GEN2 Driver is designed with a honeycomb TPE insert. TPE, also used in PXG GEN1 Irons and Drivers, is a high-performance vibration-dampening polymer that enhances the club’s sound and feel. The honeycomb structure helps reduce the mass of the dampening structure, allowing for more weight to be repositioned around the sole of the club to optimize launch conditions.
Precision Weighting Technology keeps club head mass distributed through a series of weights to increase MOI. The 0811 X GEN2 Driver has nine weights - platinum colored weights are made of high-density tungsten (4.1g or 2.5g) and black weights made of low-density titanium (0.8g). Fine-tuning will alter the initial launch conditions allowing the golfer to achieve the best possible results without changing his or her swing.
This weight distribution positions the mass equally around the club head.
This weight distribution positions the mass towards the back of the club head and has the effect of producing a higher trajectory with approximately 200-400 rpm more spin.
This weight distribution positions the mass toward the front of the club head producing a lower launch with approximately 200-400 rpm less spin.
This weight distribution positions the mass towards the heel of the club head and has the effect of producing a more draw-biased shot. This setting also helps players square the club face more easily.

If you would like our advice to perfect your fitting, please call our Personal Fitting Advisors at 1.844.PLAY.PXG
Loft: Loft is the angle measured between the face and a vertical plane. Stronger lofts will create lower launch angles and spin rates, while weaker lofts will produce a higher launch and spin ball flight. Our irons are designed with loft specifications that fit the majority of players of all levels. We recommend standard loft unless a player has been through a full fitting with a PXG fitter.
Lie: Lie is the angle measured between the shaft and the ground plane at impact. Lie angle is adjusted based on a player’s physical stature as well as his or her swing characteristics to make the head level at impact. If you are not sure what your lie angle should be, we recommend using our full online fitting tool.
Length: Club length is determined by your physical stature as well as your consistency. Generally, longer clubs will add more speed but will also increase the dispersion pattern. If you are not sure what your length should be, we recommend using our full online fitting tool.
For golfers at every level of the game, the original PXG 0311 Irons provide forgiveness where you need it and performance where you want it.
A game improvement iron that offers xtreme forgiveness and superior feel, while maintaining the sleek look of a blade. The larger profile helps build confidence at address.
Inspired by PXG's touring professionals, the 0311T Irons create a more penetrating ball flight and offer xtreme workability for advanced shot making.
GRAPHITE: Graphite iron shafts are vibration dampening, light weight options. They produce a softer feel as well as higher launch and more speed for improved distance.
STEEL: Steel iron shafts are designed to maximize consistency and provide a stable feel for stronger players. Steel shafts are generally heavier than graphite and are available in a variety of weights and stiffness profiles to help optimize your launch conditions.
