For this special day, we at PXG are thrilled to share how our own LPGA Tour staff and women at PXG are committed to breaking the bias in 2022 with inspiring and empowering stories about these exceptional women who are the future of golf around the world!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;It\u2019s a time to shine a light on the BOLD women who have paved the way for change and who continue to increase visibility for the inequality that still exists.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This is a limited-edition collection created by PXG in honor of International Women\u2019s Day on March 8. For PXG, it means working to make sure there are more women in leadership roles in business. It means fostering an environment where women can thrive and succeed on their own terms. And, it means recognizing how far we have come as a society over decades when it comes to gender equality\u2014and how far we still have to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At PXG, we believe in empowerment and that a better future comes when bias is broken, and success is celebrated for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"highlighting-bias-in-women-s-sport\">HIGHLIGHTING BIAS IN WOMEN\u2019S SPORT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<em>I definitely remember one incident I was playing golf with some friends, and the starter drove up to me and said \u2018excuse me the women&#8217;s tees are up ahead,\u2019 and I&#8217;m like I am an LPGA Tour professional!\u2019 Unfortunately, I think stuff like that happens more than people realize.<\/em>&#8220;<br>Mina Harigae, LPGA TOUR Professional<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<em>We have this stigma that you know every woman has to be sexy and sex sells, but why can&#8217;t talent sell? I never understood why the majority of people want to only watch men. Not just in terms of opportunities for women to perhaps play certain courses and get enough tee times but also in terms of sponsorships at the professional level and companies willing to invest in the women&#8217;s game.
