My name is Elise Lobb Dzingel and what is one thing we hate in golf, besides bad shots? It&#8217;s slow play. But have no fear because in this video I share with you three exercises I like to use when I&#8217;m behind slow play. So, for this first exercise, all you need is a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pxg.com\/en-us\/accessories\/on-the-course-accessories\/towels\">golf towel<\/a>. It can be the one in the cart, the one out of your bag, it&#8217;s all you need. So, we&#8217;re going to stretch the shoulders. We&#8217;re going to have one arm down and one arm up, both palms facing the same way. If you want a little extra stretch, you&#8217;re going to pull on the towel, standing up nice and tall. And then we will do it same way on the other side. One arm is up, one arm is down, palms out, pull on the towel if you need a little extra stretch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So for this next exercise, I feel like it&#8217;s very common, but we&#8217;re going to stretch the shoulders. I like to use this. All right, slow play, you know you&#8217;re going to hit it on the green. We&#8217;re going to take whichever club you have, lift it over, open up that chest, and stretch it all out. Leaning side to side, taking your time as they walk off the green, getting ready to hit your next shot onto the green, right? And now you&#8217;re ready to go hit. So, this last one is actually one of my favorites. It&#8217;s a neck stretch. So what we&#8217;re going to do, is take our ear to our shoulder and gently use that upper hand if you need a little extra stretch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This stretches the trapezius muscle, which is the culprit for all neck pain, so I stretch this one a lot. And then from here, we&#8217;re going to tilt the head and drop the chin and gently keep your hand where it is, pressing on that spot. Get a nice little stretch. And if the hand&#8217;s too much, you can just do it without putting pressure on it. And we will do other side, and as you&#8217;re sitting in the cart. They&#8217;re about to walk off, you&#8217;re going to hit your next shot, and you&#8217;re good to go.
