The announcement comes less than one month after PGA TOUR golfer\u00a0Ryan Moore\u00a0signed a deal with the golf equipment startup. Both Mediate and Moore are playing PXG 03x\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pxg.com\/en-us\/clubs\/irons\">irons<\/a>, PXG 0317\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pxg.com\/en-us\/clubs\/hybrids\">hybrids<\/a>\u00a0and a PXG 0811\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pxg.com\/en-us\/clubs\/drivers\">driver<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI believe success is part passion, part perspective, part luck and a whole lot of effort \u2013 kind of like a round of golf,\u201d said PXG founder Bob Parsons. \u201cI\u2019ve recruited top talent to develop the finest clubs ever played and am committed to seeing the clubs in the hands of golfers, like Rocco and Ryan, who share PXG\u2019s drive for success.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mediate, who began using PXG clubs in tournament competition a few weeks ago, finished in third place at last week\u2019s rain-shortened Greater Gwinnett Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn the short time I\u2019ve been playing PXG equipment, I\u2019ve seen incredible performance gains,\u201d said Mediate. \u201cI love the look, feel and forgiveness of the clubs. It just doesn\u2019t get any better.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PXG designs and develops high-performance golf clubs using premium alloys and patented technology. The company has developed a sophisticated manufacturing process for its irons that includes forging, high precision CNC milling, robotic plasma face welding and injection molding. High-density tungsten alloy screws, which create the irons\u2019 signature look, are the foundation for a one-of-a-kind weighting system.
