PXG 0317 Hybrids are engineered to deliver distance and accuracy. Featuring innovative trajectory tuning in the sole, 0317 Hybrids allow golfers to maintain the integrity of their swing and stance to achieve straight, on-target hits.
Seven moveable weights in the sole enable golfers to position the center of gravity for optimal launch and bias. While there are many possible combinations, there are three common positions.
Adjustable hosel can change the loft (+/-) 1½ degrees to optimize the trajectory.
Intricate geometries are better attained through casting. The body of the PXG 0341 Fairway Wood is cast from 17-4 stainless steel. 17-4 stainless steel is a high-grade performance alloy, suitable for casting extremely thin walled structures.
Using a high strength titanium alloy allows for a thinner face, thereby saving critical mass. As a result, mass can be redistributed to various locations within the club head leading to a more optimized ball flight.
HIGH-GRADEMATERIALS
HIGH-STRENGTHFACE DESIGN
Precision Weighting Technology keeps club head mass distributed through a series of weights. PXG 0317 Hybrids have seven weights – platinum colored weights made of high-density tungsten and black weights made of low-density titanium. Fine-tuning will alter the initial launch conditions allowing the golfer to achieve the best possible results without changing his or her swing.
This weight distribution positions the mass toward the back of the club head.
This weight distribution positions the mass towards the toe of the club head and has the effect of producing a more fade-biased shot of approximately 10 yards.
This weight distribution positions the mass towards the heel of the club head and has the effect of producing a more draw-biased shot of approximately 10 yards.
