Scottsdale, AZ (Sept. 26, 2017) – Just two weeks ago, PXG made a commitment to match donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $1 million in support of Team Rubicon’s disaster relief efforts in Texas. Thanks to an outpouring of support by hundreds of donors, Team Rubicon has successfully met the match.

With more money to raise in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, PXG’s generosity has not stopped there. The game-changing golf equipment company announced a second million-dollar matching challenge in support of Team Rubicon’s efforts in the Florida communities affected.

The new matching challenge will provide critical funds for the veteran-led humanitarian organization, which pairs the skills and experiences of military veterans with first responders, medical professionals, and technology solutions to provide the greatest impact possible in the aftermath of natural disasters.

“The scale of Team Rubicon’s efforts in Texas and now in Florida represents the largest-ever commitment by our veteran and first responder volunteers to help communities in need,” stated Team Rubicon co-founder and CEO Jake Wood. “It’s our mission to provide relief when disasters strike, and we’re grateful for PXG’s continuing support.”

“At PXG we understand the difference the right equipment can make to the success of an operation,” said founder and Marine Corps veteran Bob Parsons. “PXG’s support will help ensure volunteers have the specialized tools needed to get the job done, which makes all the difference in rebuilding and restoring hope in the communities affected.”

Together with its touring professionals and brand ambassadors, PXG will continue to leverage its global reach to drive awareness of and raise critical funds for Team Rubicon. Anyone wishing to double the impact of their support can visit www.teamrubiconusa.org or text IRMA to 87872. Links to donate can also be found on www.pxg.com.

“This is a perfect opportunity for everyone to step-up and support people in dire need,” Parsons added.
