It’s no secret that PXG golf clubs are engineered to deliver big forgiveness on your mishits for more distance, accuracy, and fun on the course. Joining our GEN4 0811 XF Driver, our Xtreme Forgiveness line expands to include PXG fairways and hybrids.

With the addition of the new PXG GEN4 XF Fairways and XF Hybrids, players now have even more ways to attack the course. But what’s the difference between our new Xtreme Forgiveness and X models in our GEN4 lineup, and which head type might be best for your game? Let’s dive in to find out.

SHARED TECHNOLOGY FOUND IN PXG GEN4 WOODS

Both the PXG X and XF Fairways and Hybrids share much of the same game-changing PXG performance engineering, including our signature adjustable technology found with our Precision Weighting Technology.

WHAT IS PRECISION WEIGHTING TECHNOLOGY?

Our proprietary weighting system at PXG known as Precision Weighting Technology optimizes mass properties to support exceptional launch conditions and an enhanced MOI. This design allows players to fine tune performance and dial in their club specifications.

HOW PRECISION WEIGHTING TECHNOLOGY IS UTILIZED WITH PXG GEN4 FAIRWAYS AND HYBRIDS

In both PXG GEN4 Fairways and Hybrids, the two weight ports in the sole support significant head weight adjustability and trajectory fine tuning for spin and bias. Players who like to take full advantage of PXG’s adjustable weighting may choose to purchase an additional weight kit to tinker with on the range.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PXG 0341 XF AND X FAIRWAY OPTIONS

Below are some of the different characteristics you will find between our 0341 X and 0341 XF Fairways.

ADJUSTABLE HOSEL:

Adjustable hosel can change the loft (+/-) ½ degree to optimize the trajectory.

HEAD SHAPE

The head shape of the 0341 XF GEN4 Fairways features a large, tall face design, and positions the CG (center of gravity) low and back for high launch and mid-spin performance to help keep you on line and in play.

The head shape of the 0341 X GEN4 Fairways positions the CG low and forward for high launch and optimal spin performance.

The smaller, more aggressive head shape of the 0341 X Fairways delivers unbelievable forgiveness, explosive distance, and an incredible sound and feel. Players who prefer a smaller head profile at setup may enjoy the X model.

NEW RAILED SOLE GEOMETRY

A new design feature on the 0341 XF Fairways is the railed sole which is not present in the X model. The Railed Sole Geometry helps to prevent the club from digging into the ground at impact and improves contact and consistency which often benefits higher handicappers.

OPTIONS FOR PXG 0341 GEN4 FAIRWAYS

The 0341 X model is available in a 2 (13°), 3 (15°), 5 (18°), and 7 (21°), while the XF model is available in 3 (16°), 5 (19°), and 7 (22°).

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE PXG 0317 XF AND X HYBRIDS

Our 0317 X GEN4 Hybrids feature a squared face design that creates added forgiveness on off-center hits.

HEAD SHAPE

PXG 0317 XF GEN4 Hybrids feature a larger profile heel to toe and squared face design to inspire even more confidence at address and deliver maximum ball speeds, even on less than perfect strikes.

NEW RAILED SOLE GEOMETRY

Our innovative Railed Sole Geometry – not featured in the 0317 X – our XF Hybrids are ideal for golfers seeking to gain speed, improve consistency, and enjoy outstanding forgiveness.
