Joel Dahmen Joel Dahmen hails from Clarkston, Washington and is entering his fourth year on the PGA TOUR. He turned professional in 2010 after attending the University of Washington. In 2014 while competing on the PGA TOUR Canada, Joel was named Player of the Year and was awarded Order of Merit. He has since had ten top-10 finishes and made two consecutive FedExCup Playoffs. His consistent ball striking is a key aspect of his golf game. Joel’s journey in golf and life hasn’t always been smooth. In 2011 he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. This was particularly difficult news, as his mother and brother had also been previously diagnosed with cancer. Determined to beat the disease, Joel fought back with the help of friends and family. Today he is cancer-free and committed to sharing his personal story to help others. Golf Digest featured Joel among the “Top 30 Nice Guys of the PGA TOUR,” something he takes to heart each day. When Joel and his wife Lona aren’t traveling the world for golf and adventure, they reside in Scottsdale with their black lab, Murphy.
