Think of the PXG 0311 Sugar Daddy as the Jack-of-all-trades of the high-lofted golf wedge world. It incorporates a moderate initial angle with a blended sole design and can be used effectively from a wide variety of turf and sand conditions, allowing the golfer to use it for virtually any shot necessary.
Available in two sole designs – Sugar Daddy 09 and 07.
CNC milled grooves take us to the legal limit in the name of spin and ball control. Milling the grooves, including the groove edge radius, also provides precision manufacturing of the groove geometry for exceptional consistency from club to club.
Available in Chrome and Xtreme Dark
Triple forged 8620 soft carbon steel is used to fabricate PXG’s 100% Milled Wedges. The material helps to prolong the life of the grooves and enhances the appearance of the club over time.
The CNC milling process ensures every line, curve and angle are produced to exacting specifications for consistent performance and advanced shot-making.
Using high density tungsten alloy and lighter titanium weights, our proprietary weighting system optimizes mass properties such as CG location and MOI. High toe weighting helps draw the CG higher in the club head and towards the center, increasing spin and improving playability on open face chip and pitch shots.
09 Sole Traditional and versatile sole design that performs very well from all types of grass and playing conditions.
07 Sole Narrow sole that is optimized for playing a lot of open face chip and pitch shots, especially from tight turf conditions. Available on the 58 and 60 degree only.

C-Grind: Designed to perform in firm turf conditions, the C-Grind features a narrow sole and aggressive taper from heel to toe, delivering moderate bounce. Ideal for skilled golfers hitting creative shots around the green.
BP-Grind: Designed for lush turf conditions, deep sand traps and golfers with a steeper attack angle, the BP-Grind features a wider sole and slight taper from heel to toe, delivering additional bounce and maximum forgiveness.
Loft: Loft is the angle measured between the face and a vertical plane. Stronger lofts will create lower launch angles and spin rates, while weaker lofts will produce a higher launch and spin ball flight. Our irons are designed with loft specifications that fit the majority of players of all levels. We recommend standard loft unless a player has been through a full fitting with a PXG fitter.
Lie: Lie is the angle measured between the shaft and the ground plane at impact. Lie angle is adjusted based on a player’s physical stature as well as his or her swing characteristics to make the head level at impact.
Length: Club length is determined by your physical stature as well as your consistency. Generally, longer clubs will add more speed but will also increase the dispersion pattern.
Graphite: Graphite iron shafts are vibration dampening, light weight options. They produce a softer feel as well as higher launch and more speed for improved distance.
Steel: Steel iron shafts are designed to maximize consistency and provide a stable feel for stronger players. Steel shafts are generally heavier than graphite and are available in a variety of weights and stiffness profiles to help optimize your launch conditions.
PXG’s stunning Xtreme Dark irons and wedges are created using an advanced process called Diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating. DLC creates a hard, graphite-like, carbon-based coating that significantly extends the reasonable lifetime of our Xtreme Dark finish.
Recommended for players who CONSISTENTLY hit their 7 iron:
Beginning golfers who are not in the L or A shaft flex category should select R: Regular Flex Shafts.
