With a flawless body design, PXG 0311 Forged Wedges offer beauty and brains. Innovative technologies like Full Face Grooves and High Toe Weighting, work in tandem with a versatile sole design to perform a variety of shots from virtually any turf condition.
Available in one sole design, these wedges are engineered to offer tremendous versatility and forgiveness.
Available in Chrome or Xtreme Dark.
Full Face Grooves support an expanded hitting area, with precision milled grooves extended to the face perimeter. In addition to inspiring confidence at address, the enlarged impact region supports consistent ball contact on shots played toward the toe side of the face.
Expertly designed High Toe Weighting works to position the CG in line with open face shots, delivering greater impact consistency and fine-tuned forgiveness.
Available in one sole design, these wedges are engineered to offer tremendous versatility and forgiveness. A moderate taper from heel to toe allows the clubhead to be open and keeps the lead edge closer to the ground. A moderate amount of sole curvature from front to back ensures ample bounce on full swings with plenty of relief for flop shots.
PXG 0311 Forged Wedges are triple forged from a strong 8620 soft carbon steel. This material prolongs the life of the clubhead, as well as enhances the overall appearance of the club over time. The tight grain structure of forged clubs create a purer resonance than a casting, which produces an outstanding feel and sound experience at impact.
PXG 0311 Forged Wedges undergo a precision robotic polishing process. Robotic polishing creates an extremely precise manufacturing process that supports consistent sole and face perimeter geometry with every club.
PXG’s stunning Xtreme Dark finish is created using an advanced process called Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) coating. DLC creates a hard, graphite-like, carbon-based coating that significantly extends the reasonable lifetime of our irons and wedges. Unlike the typical black PVD used by other equipment manufacturers, DLC is a three-layer process that includes a chromium base, a carbon-chromium mid layer, and a high-carbon top layer that is approximately 3/25,000 of an inch thick. This produces extraordinary wear resistance and a flawless look without influencing club performance relative to how the ball reacts.

C-Grind: Designed to perform in firm turf conditions, the C-Grind features a narrow sole and aggressive taper from heel to toe, delivering moderate bounce. Ideal for skilled golfers hitting creative shots around the green.
BP-Grind: Designed for lush turf conditions, deep sand traps and golfers with a steeper attack angle, the BP-Grind features a wider sole and slight taper from heel to toe, delivering additional bounce and maximum forgiveness.
Loft: Loft is the angle measured between the face and a vertical plane. Stronger lofts will create lower launch angles and spin rates, while weaker lofts will produce a higher launch and spin ball flight. Our irons are designed with loft specifications that fit the majority of players of all levels. We recommend standard loft unless a player has been through a full fitting with a PXG fitter.
Lie: Lie is the angle measured between the shaft and the ground plane at impact. Lie angle is adjusted based on a player’s physical stature as well as his or her swing characteristics to make the head level at impact.
Length: Club length is determined by your physical stature as well as your consistency. Generally, longer clubs will add more speed but will also increase the dispersion pattern.
Graphite: Graphite iron shafts are vibration dampening, light weight options. They produce a softer feel as well as higher launch and more speed for improved distance.
Steel: Steel iron shafts are designed to maximize consistency and provide a stable feel for stronger players. Steel shafts are generally heavier than graphite and are available in a variety of weights and stiffness profiles to help optimize your launch conditions.
PXG’s stunning Xtreme Dark irons and wedges are created using an advanced process called Diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating. DLC creates a hard, graphite-like, carbon-based coating that significantly extends the reasonable lifetime of our Xtreme Dark finish.
