The PXG 0811 X Proto Driver was originally designed for our tour pros. Their positive response inspired us to get these clubs into the hands of the most important golfers we serve, you.
The 0811 X Proto Driver is a low center of gravity (CG), lower spin option.
Engineered for players with more level or downward attack angles.
Four weight ports in the sole support trajectory tuning and create the opportunity for the overall assembled mass to be adjusted.
Adjustable hosel can change the loft (+/-) 1½ degrees to optimize the trajectory.
The 0811 X Proto Driver presents one heavy and three light sole weights that are interchangeable to support preferred spin and bias settings for optimum performance. Heavy weights are available in 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5(standard setting), 15, 17.5, and 20-gram options. Weight are the same as those used for PXG GEN2 Putters.
This weight distribution positions mass towards the back of the club head, yielding high spin performance and delivering the maximum MOI.
This weight distribution positions mass towards the front of the club head, creating the lowest spin performance and delivering the maximum speeds.
This weight distribution positions the mass towards the toe of the club head and has the effect of producing a more fade-biased shot.
This weight distribution positions the mass towards the heel of the club head and has the effect of producing a more draw-biased shot.
